Eyestare was founded in the early 90s, and likes to reminisce on the era of 70s Hard Rock, New Wave of British Heavy Metal and Progressive metal. Their music draws on legends such as Black Sabbath, Metallica and Rush. After many years of erratic regeneration, this four-piece rock band has managed to steer a steady course, straight towards the stage.
Eyestare - Dysphoria The project was (re)started in 2014 and is all about eight progressive metal songs, written by this band between 1993 and 1995. The songs were never recorded before, except two of them. "Fading Dignity" and "Trapped in the Shadowland" were recorded in the winter of 2013/2014 by Structure Seven, a reincarnation of Synergy/Eyestare. Both songs got new vocals especially for “Dysphoria”. The remaining six songs were recorded during the winter of 2016/2017, and an interim version was released on Bandcamp in 2019, after which the final vocals were completed in 2023.
